Truss Fabrication:

We conduct inspections of manufacturing facilities for Metal Plate Connected wood trusses. These inspections are to verify general conformance with WTCA and TPI truss fabrication guidelines. Our inspections can include the cutting of wood members, quality of the finished trusses, handling and storage.

We also do inspections for bolted wood trusses either at the manufacturer's plant or in the field. Bolted wood trusses need to be inspected for the quality of the shear plates, bolt hole connections and steel side plates.

Truss Installation:

We have inspected hundreds of buildings and thousands of trusses for proper installation and bracing procedures. Inspections are often requested by the general contractor or owner to locate any damaged or incorrectly installed trusses, before final payments are made to the subcontractor.

Engineer Certified Reports:

All of the inspection services provided can include a formal, engineer certified report. Reports can be as simple as a one-page letter, or as formal as needed to satisfy the intended audience. Reports can include photographs, drawings, truss designs and repair details as applicable.
